MEET KEVIN

Kevin Kloepfer has been the heart and driving force behind Comprent Motor Sports since he first started the business part-time back in 1988. What began as a passion project in a small shop quickly grew into a full-time career as Kevin’s reputation for honesty, dedication, and meticulous prep work spread through the racing community.

From his earliest days fielding cars at the SCCA Runoffs to guiding drivers to national championships, Kevin’s hands-on approach and eye for detail have set the tone for everything Comprent does. He’s not just the founder—he’s the guy you’ll find in the shop making sure every car is ready for the track, sharing advice with drivers, and rolling up his sleeves for the toughest jobs.

Over more than three decades, Kevin has built Comprent into one of the country’s most respected race shops, with ten national championships and a long list of grateful clients—everyone from up-and-coming drivers to vintage racing enthusiasts. For Kevin, it’s always been about more than trophies; it’s about helping people chase their racing dreams, and making sure their cars (and their confidence) are ready for the challenge.
